Fused Cast AZS Brick Introduction
AZS bricks for glass furnace is a white solid formed by pure alumina powder and zircon sand containing zirconia 65% and about 34% silica in the electric furnace and then injected into the mold to be cooled. The structure azs bricks consists of an eutectoid and a glass phase of corundum and zirconium,AZS blocks are phased as eutectoids of the corundum phase and the zircon oblique phase, and the glass phase is filled between their crystals.
Fused Cast AZS Brick Casting Method
PT: normal casting, cavity is located under the casting scar. we also call PT as RN/RC
QX: oriented casting, cavity is located at the rear bottom side. we also call QX as RO/LC/TC
ZWS: reinforced casting, reduced cavity and cavity located at the bottom of the block, we also call ZWS as RR/ EVF/EC
WS: total filing, the cavity zone is sawed off, so brick with this casting method has no cavity, we also call it RT/VF/EPIC
Of cause there still has other casting method like RA, RL, RX etc. Each casting method has its own features and Huachen Refractory will choose the best casting way based customers' project.
1. Fused Cast AZS 33# using casting method PT
Due to the material's excellent castability, thsi product can be made into many different shapes and sizes. Shape like feeder channel pieces, thermocouple protection tubes, tuck stone, crown, blast nozzle brick.
Recommendations: superstructures, working ends and feeder channel.
2. Fused Cast AZS 33# using casting method ZWS
designed for use in the sidewalls of flam furnaces with embedded melter bottoms. This product is only avaliable in straight brick or approximate one.
3. Fused Cast AZS 33# using casting method WS
There is a great varity of formats and shapes pieces which are available using dfferent forming and special machine processes. Designed for used in the special places like side walls, tank bottom, superstructure feeder channel, bowl. blender, C shaped brick etc.

Fused Cast AZS Block Application
Fused cast azs-series refractory bricks for the glass kiln has excellent corrosion resistance to molten glass. AZS bricks used in glass contact (side walls ,paving tiles,etc) and superstructures (breast walls ,ports ,tuck-stones,etc), it also can be used in other industry kilns.
Fused cast AZS Packing Detail
1. 15-21 crates/ pallets can be loaded in one 20’ container
2. Crate or pallet size: length≤1.3m, width: 0.6-1.1m
3. Gross weight of each crate or pallet shall be around 1 metric ton and shall not exceed 1.8 metric ton
4. Special requirement of packing details are acceptable
5. A packing list will be issued for approval after designing.
Good packing materials
1. Packing materials: fumigation wooden pallet or wooden case
2. Woven or paper sheet, angle paper, paper corner
Woven or paper sheet: 0.5 mm thickness, laid on the top of pallet to separate bricks from the pallet
Angle paper: 0.5mm thickness, used between all layers of bricks and between bricks and paper corners to protect the bricks from damage.
Paper corner: 50*50*5mm, used to protect the edges and corners of brick stack and fasten the stack.
